Harbeth Loudspeakers

A welcome return to Australia for this famous brand. These loudspeakers are the results of the intensive and extensive research work carried out by the BBC many years ago and finely tuned since then. This research, completely documented, defined the principals that work together to give the most natural sound. Fashion does not come into it.

Harbeth loudspeakers feature custom drivers that are built in-house and cabinets that are built unlike most current offerings.

For example, the bass/mid driver is the patented RADIAL polymer frameless unit. The cabinet is not the usual thick MDF box, but rather, in plywood and designed to work with the drivers and crossover, rather than be acoustically "dead".

All Harbeth loudspeakers have a common "signature" sound, otherwise something would be wrong and something would be right.

Nottingham Analogue Hyperspace/Spacearm SE

Not all new but some tweaks not easily seen, but easily heard. Improved main bearing performance that pumps it's own oil. Now featuring the new Spacearm SE which has a new unipivot assembly giving it performance that even exceeds the ANNA arm.
The Hyperspace features the machined graphite matt on top of the composite platter. A very careful combination of materials all round. The only upgrade possible to this turntable is the Wave Mechanic power supply. That's it. You will never buy another turntable.

Trichord Research Diablo

The replacement phono stage for the much acclaimed Delphi. Superb components under the hoods, which now sport aluminium cases and a brushed aluminium facias. The phono stage is as flexible as ever. Can be configured with a number of power supplies. Starting with the standard wall-wart to a high capacity unit through to the latest and revolutionary "never connected" power supply (as shown).

Benz-Micro cartridges

Full range now in stock. From the "entry" level ACE to the very desirable and magnificent Ebony LP. Most can supplied in either low or high outputs. The Benz-Micro cartridges feature very robust Boron cantilevers, have high compliances (for an MC) and a range of styli configurations. The nude Glider is at the price "sweet spot", followed by the very musical wooden bodied models. All offer excellent tracking ability and matching to any modern arm.

Nitty Gritty
